A piece of cloth doesn't define our worth

There's a saying, "If a woman is dressed well, people will judge; if she is not dressed that well, people will judge too".  We live in a world where women are still looked upon in a certain way even if they cover themselves completely or if they expose their bodies.

Why is it so easy to judge a woman? If a man wears shorts no one is bothered but if a woman does the same she's looked upon!

As soon as we step out of the house few people will glare no matter whether you look back or not. But dont they feel how uncomfortable the person might get?
I was wearing denim and a normal T-shirt, but still few people were staring at me including women. No part of my body was visible though it was a big deal for them. The problem arises when our parents think according to society, " you better wear a scarf or a long Kurti" They should remember it won't change the mentality of society, and let their daughters decide what they want rather than instilling society. I've been a cabin crew and the way few people look at us is miserable. Wearing short cloth doesn't mean we are asking for it. One of my crewmates was harassed by a passenger, he openly said the uniform which you people wear is to tempt the customers, which is absolutely not true.

We live in the 21st century, however, some people are still living in the medieval period. No one needs to judge or be bothered by whatever an individual is wearing because everyone deserves to live the life the way they want. Each and everyone needs to understand that our clothes or appearance don't define our worth. And we do deserve equal respect.
